Lynne Shivers
She is a highly-skilled event manager with more than 30 years experience planning conferences, major lectures and wedding. She enjoys the process of conceptualizing, planning, implementing and evaluating your event. Some events she has planned include: new graduate student orientations, graduate student commencement receptions, high profile events with celebrities and prolific speakers, major single and multi-day conferences, Big Ten events, centennial programs, awards ceremonies and semester-long speaker series.
Lynne has served on national and local event planning benchmarking committees. She is a past president of the University of Michigan University Event Planners (UEP), an organization with more than 1,000 members. Lynne has received numerous awards in leadership and distinguished service. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bowie State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Michigan.

Pallavi Jassi Abbott
Pallavi's professional career spans eight years and she brings with her a fitting blend of marketing and communication. A former journalist and a current marketing professional, she understands the complexities of preparing, planning and executing an event.
Born and raised in New Delhi, India, Pallavi has worked with various companies that include BMW and was a part of the launch team of Golfworx - India's First Golf Simulation Lounge. Having been successful in developing market specific programs, she is well versed with all factors that need investigation and the pre-requisites for planning an event as necessary.
Pallavi holds a Master's in Mass Communication and brings with her the commitment to adapt to new environment and embrace diversity unwaveringly.
